With a team of highly experienced experts in climate change and greenhouse gas (GHG) verification, we provide independent verification services for corporate GHG inventory reports.

Our accredited scope of activities under ISO 14065:2020 and ISO/IEC 17029:2019 covers various sectors, including general manufacturing, mining and mineral production, transportation, and other GHG-emitting sectors.

  • Managing conflicts of interest: VETS management and personnel fully recognize the importance of impartiality in verification activities and are committed to identifying and managing potential conflicts of interest.
  • Monitoring impartiality risks: VETS continuously monitors its activities and relationships to promptly identify potential threats to impartiality. This process involves consultation with relevant stakeholders, ensuring that no single interest dominates the decision-making process.

3. GHG Verification Process

VETS conducts GHG verification activities in accordance with the following process flowchart:

The verification process typically takes 2–6 weeks, depending on the scale and complexity of the GHG inventory report.

Verification experts are assigned based on their qualifications, technical expertise, and experience in the relevant sectors, ensuring both technical competence and independence throughout the verification process.

4. Our Services

VETS provides a comprehensive range of GHG verification and related services, including:

5. Complaints and Appeals

VETS receives and handles all complaints and appeals through a transparent and structured process.

  • Response time: Within 15 working days from the date of receipt.

6.1. Mr. Duong Chi Cong, M.Sc.

20 years of experience in the energy and environmental sectors.

Professional Certifications & Training:

  • Greenhouse Gas Emissions Management (ISO 14064).
  • IPCC 501: Introduction to Cross-Cutting Issues.
  • Implementation of the 2006 IPCC Guidelines and IPCC Inventory Software: Agriculture, Forestry and Other Land Use (AFOLU) Sector.
  • Certified Energy Auditor.
  • Other relevant professional certifications and training.

6.2. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Thia

8 years of experience in the field of climate change.

  • Greenhouse Gas Emissions Management (ISO 14064).
