VETS | EnE was honored to be a Sponsor of the 2025 Hanoi Open Rapid Chess Championship, organized by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports in coordination with the Vietnam Chess Federation. The tournament, held on November 16 at the My Dinh Indoor Athletics Palace, attracted more than 2,000 athletes from over 80 organizations across Hanoi and neighboring provinces.

The 2025 Hanoi Open Rapid Chess Championship is a grassroots tournament for young chess players in Hanoi. The competition was divided into two categories: Amateur and Advanced.
The Amateur Category was open to students, university students, parents, and chess enthusiasts who have never won medals at national or international competitions.
The Advanced Category was designated for professional players holding an official FIDE identification number (ID).

Within the framework of the tournament, athletes competed for a total of 60 individual and team medals (men’s and women’s) across 15 age groups in both the Amateur and Advanced categories. With a large number of participants ranging from 150 to 200 players per category the matches were highly competitive and thrilling throughout. Notably, the results of the Advanced Category will be submitted to the World Chess Federation (FIDE) for international Elo rating updates in December 2025.
As a sponsor of the event, Ms. Pham Bich Ngoc, Head of Marketing at VETS | EnE, attended the tournament to congratulate, encourage, and present awards to outstanding players. By accompanying this event, VETS | EnE is proud to contribute to the promotion of intellectual sports, fostering critical thinking and creativity among the younger generation – key drivers in shaping a sustainable and green future.
