On June 18, 2026, VETS | EnE participated as the technical facilitator at the Technical Exchange Workshop of the Energy Efficiency Club (EEC) for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Ho Chi Minh City region (formerly Binh Duong Province).
The event was organized under the framework of the Vietnam–Germany Energy Partnership Project, aiming to promote energy efficiency, strengthen technical knowledge exchange, and support enterprises in accessing solutions for energy conservation, renewable energy adoption, and greenhouse gas emission reduction.
1. Key Technical Sessions
Morning Technical Session: Exploring Energy Efficiency Solutions
The workshop began with presentations and discussions led by VETS | EnE experts and technology providers on energy efficiency solutions for SMEs, with a particular focus on heat pump technology.

Following the presentation, participating enterprises engaged in discussions on their current energy consumption practices, challenges related to system investment and operation, and technical questions concerning heat pump implementation.

The second technical session focused on rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) systems integrated with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Participants were also updated on recent electricity pricing policies and their potential implications for businesses.

Afternoon Site Visit: Rooftop Solar and BESS System at PECC2
As part of the program, participants visited the facilities of Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 2 (PECC2).
During the site visit, enterprise representatives had the opportunity to observe a rooftop solar PV system integrated with a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), while learning about system configuration, operational practices, and real-world implementation experiences.

Following the visit, participants joined an open discussion session to exchange lessons learned, assess the feasibility of renewable energy solutions, and discuss potential applications within their own organizations.
