On September 30, 2026, experts from VETS | EnE, along with the trainees of the Energy Auditor training course, made a field trip to the Hoa Binh hydroelectric power plant.
The program involved trainees from and affiliated with the Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN), along with experts from VETS | EnE and representatives from Hoa Binh Hydropower Company.

The delegation took a commemorative photo at the Hoa Binh hydroelectric power plant.
During the program, trainees directly surveyed and learned about energy usage at Hoa Binh Hydropower Company. Under the guidance of instructors, trainees had the opportunity to observe the energy-using systems and equipment, learn survey methods, collect information, and analyze data for energy audit purposes.
Practical activities help trainees consolidate their knowledge of legal regulations, procedures, and steps in conducting energy audits, while gradually improving their ability to use measuring and testing equipment for surveys. Through accessing data and the current situation at the facility, trainees develop skills in analyzing and identifying energy saving opportunities and proposing solutions for efficient and effective energy use.

Representatives from the Hoa Binh hydroelectric plant welcomed the delegation for a visit and experience.
In addition, the practical session aims to develop the ability to identify energy saving opportunities within a facility. This forms the foundation for trainees to apply their learned knowledge to the audit process and gradually take on the role of an energy auditor.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Hau – Head of VETS Solutions Consulting Department | EnE, speaking at the welcoming ceremony for the field trip delegation.
Combining theoretical knowledge with on-site experience, the program helps students strengthen their expertise, improve their survey and data analysis skills, and gain a deeper understanding of the energy audit process. As a training institution, VETS | EnE always focuses on linking teaching content with practical requirements, contributing to improving the quality of energy auditors and meeting the growing needs of the electricity industry in Vietnam.
