On October 30, 2026, VETS | EnE organized a training program on conducting greenhouse gas inventories for businesses in the Industry and Trade sector in Dong Thap province, aiming to enhance professional capacity and support businesses in carrying out greenhouse gas inventories in accordance with current regulations.
In the context of increasing emphasis on greenhouse gas emission management and reduction, conducting greenhouse gas inventories plays a crucial role in environmental management and guiding businesses towards emission reduction. In particular, Decision No. 42/2026/QD-TTg dated August 10, 2026, of the Prime Minister updated the list of sectors and facilities emitting greenhouse gases that must conduct greenhouse gas inventories, setting requirements for facilities within the scope of application in implementing inventories and preparing reports as prescribed.

To support businesses in improving their implementation capacity, on October 30, 2026, VETS | EnE organized a training program titled “Guidance on conducting greenhouse gas inventories for greenhouse gas emitting facilities in the Industry and Trade sector in Dong Thap province”. The program was attended by representatives from facilities on the list required to conduct greenhouse gas inventories in Dong Thap province, as well as businesses seeking to enhance their knowledge and capacity in managing greenhouse gas emissions.

During the program, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Kien, M.Sc. – VETS | EnE expert, directly guided participants on professional content related to the process of conducting greenhouse gas inventory and reporting at the grassroots level, combined with illustrating calculation methods and handling real-world situations.
