Summary of the 2026 Northern Region Energy Auditor Training Course

On October 2nd, 2026, VETS | EnE held the closing ceremony and graduation of the training course with the participation of representatives from Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN), Northern Power College, the teaching staff, and 43 trainees from units under and directly affiliated with EVN.

Equip yourself with practical knowledge and skills in energy auditing.

During the 11-day training course, participants gained access to a comprehensive knowledge base ranging from legal foundations to procedures and methods for implementing energy audits. The course content focused on the Law on Economical and Efficient Energy Use; energy audit procedures; surveys and measurements; data analysis; energy efficiency assessment; and practical professional skills.

Representatives from various units and 43 trainees of the training course took a commemorative photo together.

One of the highlights of the training course is its practicality and relevance to business operations. Besides the content based on the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s curriculum, the course focuses on common technical systems in practice, making it easy for trainees to relate and apply their knowledge to their work.

In particular, the curriculum combines theoretical training, field trips, and practical factory work, allowing trainees to directly access the production environment, reinforce their professional knowledge, and enhance their ability to identify and assess opportunities for energy saving and efficiency.

VETS | EnE affirms its role as a professional training institution.

As a training provider, VETS | EnE participates in developing and implementing professional content, combining foundational knowledge with practical experience gained from the implementation of energy projects.

At the closing ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Trong Hau – representing the VETS | EnE teaching staff – presented a summary report of the training course, evaluating the results achieved after 11 days of study, and sharing the advantages, difficulties, and lessons learned to further improve the quality of the training program in the future.

Through this program, VETS | EnE continues to affirm its professional capacity in the field of energy auditor training, while contributing to the development of human resources with the knowledge and skills to meet the practical requirements of energy saving and efficiency.

In its concluding remarks, the Organizing Committee expressed its hope that the knowledge, skills, and experience acquired during the course would serve as a foundation for participants to effectively apply them to their work, thereby contributing to improved energy efficiency, promoting green transition, and sustainable development within their respective organizations.

The success of the training course was due to the attention and guidance of the Department of Energy and Petroleum, Ministry of Industry and Trade, the coordination of Vietnam Electricity Group, the participation of lecturers and experts, and the serious learning spirit of the 43 trainees. The program also contributed to the development of human resources with expertise and practical skills in the field of energy auditing, meeting the requirements for energy saving and efficiency.
