Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Viet Dung is the Head of the Department of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering at the Institute of Refrigeration and Thermal Engineering, Hanoi University of Science and Technology. He is one of Vietnam’s leading experts in refrigeration and air conditioning engineering, with more than 25 years of experience in research, teaching, design consultancy, technical appraisal, and technology transfer.
Throughout his academic and research career, Dr. Dung has focused on several specialized fields, including refrigeration and air conditioning systems, refrigeration technologies and engineering, energy-efficient solutions for thermal systems, and post-harvest preservation technologies. He has led and participated in numerous research projects and applied studies, and has served as an experienced lecturer and consultant for training programs as well as collaborative initiatives with domestic and international enterprises.
