Nguyen Dinh Hiep

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hiep is the Chairman of the Vietnam Association for Energy Efficiency and Conservation (VECEA) and one of the leading experts in energy policy, energy efficiency, and sustainable development in Vietnam. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

Throughout his career, Mr. Hiep has held numerous key positions, including Vice Chairman and Secretary General of VECEA, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Environmental Industry Association, and former Director General of the Department of Science and Technology at the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT). With more than 26 years of experience in researching, developing, and implementing programs and projects related to energy efficiency, renewable energy, and clean energy, he has made significant contributions to environmental protection and sustainable development in Vietnam.

Currently, Mr. Hiep continues to serve as a senior advisor for various projects in the fields of energy and sustainable development, working closely with domestic and international enterprises and organizations. He is highly regarded by the professional community for his strategic vision, extensive experience in public sector management, and strong technical expertise, and is recognized as a key driving force in advancing Vietnam’s energy transition.
