From May 5th to 12th, 2022, in Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City, the Green Climate Fund (GCF) with trust funding through the World Bank (WB) in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Trade organized a workshop to introduce: “Energy Efficiency for Industrial Enterprises Project – VSUEE Project”.
The project aims to support industrial enterprises to increase their opportunities to access capital, invest in technological innovation and optimize the use of energy efficiency and conservation in the production process.
In fact, due to several reasons, project managers and appraisers of banks participating in VEEIE and VSUEE projects do not have enough knowledge and experience in appraising energy efficiency and conservation project.
In order to improve the professional capacity of Energy Saving for bankers participating in VEEIE and VSUEE projects. Vets.Energy organizes the project implementation: Developing training materials and supporting training to improve capacity on energy efficiency for bankers participating in VEEIE and VSUEE (WORLD BANK) projects.
The content of the training program is developed to be suitable for the trainees, which is to help the bankers understand Vietnam’s regulations on energy efficiency and conservation and improve their competence in regulations on energy efficiency and ESCO projects.
