Practical course for energy managers and energy auditors in the context of a virtual factory

1 December, 2022

Currently, energy efficiency training programs in Vietnam are being implemented in the direction of traditional or online training. To promote and increase the use of digital technologies in the energy sector across countries, the TUEWAS component of the German Development Cooperation Organization – GIZ has launched a pilot project on digital immersive learning “Training of energy managers and energy auditors in the context of a virtual factory”.

Vietnam Technology Solutions Joint Stock Company is selected by the German Development Cooperation Organization – GIZ as the unit to develop an energy efficiency practical training in the context of a virtual factory. The course is designed using a simulated learning environment based on virtual reality and 360 video that allows you to practice your energy saving knowledge in a real-life environment.

When participating in the virtual reality course, students will experience an immersive training model that focuses on providing learners with the most useful energy-efficient practice tips as well as other interesting learning content.

To complete the course and receive a certificate, students will need to complete 8 modules. In which, module 08 will include a mandatory final exam and questionnaire, which students will need to complete in order to receive the course certificate.

VETS anticipates that such a fun and interactive learning environment will encourage students to participate more actively, enhance general performance, and increase long-term memory retention.

The course takes place on the Atingi platform from November 15, 2022: https://online.atingi.org/course/view.php?id=3413
