Dr. Duong Trung Kien is the Managing Director of VETS and one of Vietnam’s leading experts in energy management, renewable and new energy, and industrial systems. With more than 20 years of professional experience, he has played a pivotal role in advancing the company’s expertise and reputation in the energy sector.
Prior to his current role at VETS, Dr. Kien was extensively involved in national and international energy projects in collaboration with organizations such as the World Bank, DEPP3, KOICA, and ADB. He has led numerous research projects and training programs on energy management and renewable energy, while also serving as a senior consultant in energy efficiency, energy auditing, and greenhouse gas inventory.
He is recognized for his integrity, leadership, and ability to connect policy, business, and academia, making him a trusted partner for government agencies, enterprises, and international organizations in driving Vietnam’s sustainable energy transition.
