Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Thia is a Greenhouse Gas and Emissions Management Expert, currently engaged in professional activities at VETS | Energy. He has a strong academic background and many years of experience in research, consulting, and implementation related to greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories, emissions management, and carbon measurement tools for enterprises.
In his professional work, he focuses on developing corporate-level GHG inventory and reporting systems; designing calculation tools, templates, and technical guidelines; and participating in training programs that support enterprises in meeting ESG, Net Zero, and carbon market requirements, as Vietnam progressively completes its climate policy framework.
In addition to GHG inventories, he has in-depth experience in developing guidelines and supporting enterprises in calculating the Carbon Footprint of Products (CFP), particularly for the steel and textile industries. His work helps businesses meet emissions transparency requirements, enhance carbon management capacity, and increase their ability to participate in sustainable domestic and international supply chains.
