Who am I

I graduated with a Master’s degree in Climate Change from Vietnam National University, Hanoi in 2016, and have spent more than 16 years working and researching in the fields of energy and environment. Throughout my career, I have obtained several important professional certifications, including Energy Auditor (Ministry of Industry and Trade, 2022), Greenhouse Gas Inventory under IPCC 2006 Guidelines (Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, 2024), ISO 14064, ISO/IEC 17029, and other international capacity-building programs.

By joining VETS E&E, I aim to apply my expertise and experience to support enterprises in their journey toward sustainable energy transition and climate change adaptation.

How I make a difference

I make a difference by developing, guiding, and implementing greenhouse gas inventory reports for major corporations and enterprises in Vietnam, helping them meet legal requirements and commit to sustainable development. Some of the key projects where I served as Lead Consultant include:

  • PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PVGAS)

  • VICEM Ha Tien Cement Joint Stock Company (5 branches)

  • Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company (PNJ)

  • MM Mega Market Vietnam Co., Ltd.

  • Viet Y Steel Joint Stock Company (VIS)

Through these projects, I not only provided technical solutions but also helped clients build long-term strategies in carbon management and emission reduction.

A true learning culture at VETS

I believe that every working day offers a chance to learn something new. At VETS, I have the opportunity to engage in cross-sectoral projects spanning energy, industry, and retail, which expand my knowledge and expertise. I also constantly seek to apply international standards such as ISO 14064 and IPCC guidelines to Vietnam’s practices, improving both transparency and effectiveness.

My advice for future colleagues

If you want to become an expert in the energy and environment fields, start with patience, continuous learning, and readiness to adapt to changes. Every project and every client is an opportunity to accumulate valuable knowledge and experience.

Fun fact

Outside of my professional work, I am passionate about volunteering activities, particularly blood donation. For me, every donation is like “reducing negative emissions” in life – bringing positive energy and sharing with the community.
